The kids are away for the summer and the gang looks forward to their freedom. But three months later, it looks like summer is a bust with Will doing all the things on the “Angie and Will’s List of Summer Fun” with Tracy Freeze; Angie obsessing over writing the world’s longest email to her ex; and Douglas inexplicably ghosting Poppy on their first date.
Set in 1990-something, Schooled is a spinoff of The Goldbergs and follows the hilarious faculty of William Penn Academy, led by new music teacher and WP graduate Lainey Lewis, Principal Glascott, Coach Mellor and young, enthusiastic super-teacher Charlie Brown or CB for short. Despite their eccentricities and crazy personal lives, these teachers are heroes to their students.
In the Season 7 premiere, Beverly insists the family take a road trip to go on vacation Disneyland in Anaheim, Cal., before Erica and Barry go off to college. But like the film, things do not go as planned as they travel across the country. Meanwhile, Erica worries more and more about her relationship with Geoff when he teases “we need to talk” and won’t tell her anything until the family returns from their adventure.
