Storming Juno places the viewer on a plane with Canadian paratroopers soon to land behind enemy lines the night of June 5. We get on board one of the ships heading across the English Channel. And we are introduced to men in one of the amphibious tanks that would be launched toward the beach, mostly with disastrous results. As in Saving Private Ryan, Storming Juno shows what a terrifying and chaotic situation the Canadians faced at Juno, the second-most heavily fortified sector in the German defence line.
