Godfather of Harlem reimagines the story of infamous crime boss Bumpy Johnson, who in the early 1960s returned from a decade in prison to find the neighborhood he once ruled in shambles.

Season 4, Episode 01 – “Our Black Shining Prince”
Bumpy and Chin enlist Morgenthau’s help to prevent Colombo and Battle from bringing in a shipment of heroin, guns, and cocaine. Stella must choose between Colombo and her father. Meanwhile, Malcolm X prepares for his speech at the Audubon Ballroom.

Season 4, Episode 02 – “Country Boy”
Bumpy must turn the Five Families against Chin when he violates their peace agreement; he tasks newcomer Frank Lucas with robbing a shipment of Gigante heroin; Elise learns of a plot to kill Omar; Stella makes a play to become boss of the family.

Season 4, Episode 03 – “The Straw Man”
When the property for Bumpy’s new club is being sold to a powerful, white real-estate developer, Bumpy must convince the black “Straw Man” to sell it to him instead; Mayme and Elise stage a protest at Margaret’s school.

Season 4, Episode 04 – “Union Blues”
Bumpy battles a union strike threatening club construction; Elise bails out a fellow Panther; Frank faces consequences for Cowboy Nick’s murder.

Season 4, Episode 05 – “Concrete Jungle”
Bumpy finds a new concrete supplier that subverts payments to the Italians; Elise and the Panthers plan a symbolic action against the police; Frank does a job for Colombo; Mayme asks James Baldwin to do a reading for the Fine Arts Board.
