Anne Curtis plays Elizabeth, a wallflower who is head over heels in love with campus heartthrob John Eduque, played by Luis Manzano. John hardly takes notice of Elizabeth, but one day at her lowest, he takes a moment to talk to her and cheer her up. John’s simple act becomes life-changing for Elizabeth. She transforms into a beautiful and successful career woman.
What never changes is her love for John. So when she reads his name in the obituary, Elizabeth is shattered with grief. She goes to the wake in hysterics, but gets the shock of her life upon realizing that the deceased is John Eduque Sr., John’s father.
John and his mother, played by Eugene Domingo, are likewise bewildered. Thinking that Elizabeth is the mistress of her late husband, Mrs. Eduque succumbs to depression. Seeing his mother’s misery, John promises to look for Elizabeth and get back at her.
But the revenge ploy backfires as John falls for Elizabeth. How will romance ever blossom between them if Mrs. Eduque will never approve? How can Elizabeth turn her mistake into something wonderful?
