Murphy is a hard-living, hard-drinking, disaffected twenty-something with a penchant for cigarettes and casual sex. She’s also blind. Murphy lives with her supportive best friend, Jess, and – more reluctantly – her trusty guide dog, Pretzel, whose presence she resents. Murphy’s closest friend is a sweet teenager named Tyson, who she befriends after he saved her from a violent mugging. Her life comes crashing down when she stumbles upon what she’s sure is the lifeless body of Tyson in the alley outside her apartment. But when the police arrive there is no body to be found – and with Murphy not exactly sober, the police aren’t especially inclined to investigate. Murphy is determined to find the truth, no matter the risk… even if it means she has to sober up a little.

Season 3, Episode 01 – “Hanging by a Thread”
With Nia dead and Josh aware of their involvement in the biggest case of his career, Murphy, Jess, Felix and Max are forced to make some life-changing decisions. Meanwhile, Officer Gene Clemens suspects something is awry within the department and forms an unlikely partnership with Josh.

Muphy reaches out to an unlikely source for help in getting to Jess but when Trey makes other plans, the whole thing blows up in their faces.

Season 3, Episode 06 – “Arcade Fire”
Murphy’s desperate attempt to save Jess lands her in deeper trouble. A disagreement between Gene and Josh is not without its consequences.

Season 3, Episode 07 – “Pretty in Pink”
Murphy, Felix and Max look to Josiah for answers about Jess. Meanwhile, Gene makes a bold move.

Season 3, Episode 08 – “Power Trip”
Things get awkward when Murphy and her friends ride out the storm together.

Season 3, Episode 09 – “Excess Baggage”
When Murphy starts to spin out, Felix takes matters into his own hands.

Season 3, Episode 10 – “Home Run”
Feeling isolated and alone, Murphy seeks comfort in the familiar but sometimes things do change, and she is forced to fend for herself.

Season 3, Episode 11 – “Match Point”
With the walls closing in, Murphy and Trey make a desperate move.

Season 3, Episode 12 – “Do You Hear What I Hear?”
As Murphy closes in on finding out what happened to Jess, Clemens and Josh move one step closer to finding Murphy.

Season 3, Episode 13 – “Expectation is the Root of All Heartache”
Murphy finally learns the truth about what happened to Jess and it forces her to take a closer look at who she herself has become.
