Set in Edwardian England, this adaptation of H.G. The War of the Worlds tells their story as they face the escalating terror of an alien invasion, fighting for their lives against an enemy beyond their comprehension.

A mysterious capsule lands on Horsell Common; A terrifying menace inside the capsule is unleashed; Amy and George survive the slaughter, but the Martian invader takes its full form and unleashes further destruction.
Season 1, Episode 02
In the epic conclusion George and Amy seek shelter, but will it be enough to survive the invasion?
Season 1, Episode 03
George and Mrs Elphinstone take refuge at an orphanage. Meanwhile, Amy is reunited with Ogilvy. Together they piece together the events of the invasion hoping to find the clue to the Martians’ weakness.

It was shown on T&E in Canada in October, the third episode on Oct. 20, but apparently on BBC in November. May be what is causing the issue. IMBD is showing October dates.

War of the Worlds according to IMDB is 3 x 1 hour episodes. The above episodes are 1.5 hours each, so there should only be two.

Yes, you only need to watch eps 1 + 2 here. Those are the New Zealand editions, which took the three x hour-long eps and broadcast it as 2 x 90-minute eps.
Ep.3 is from the original edition, and thus repeats the final hour of Ep.2!
