This culinary competition series gives talented kids between the ages of eight and 13 the chance to showcase their culinary abilities and passion for food through a series of delicious challenges. Host and award-winning chef Gordon Ramsay is joined by restaurateur and winemaker Joe Bastianich and acclaimed chef Graham Elliot on the judging panel. Together, the celebrated food experts will coach and encourage the promising hopefuls to cook like a pro and teach them the tricks of the trade along the way.

Season 07, Episode 01 – “New Kids on the Block”
The Season 7 premiere: The Top 24 junior home cooks are put to the test to prove they can master any challenge thrown their way—from elevating classic breakfast and lunch dishes, to mystery box challenges, to making as many perfect banana splits as possible.

Season 07, Episode 02 – “Going Bananas”
These chef-testants begin to learn the importance of teamwork and speed in the kitchen, while facing two sets of elimination.

Season 07, Episode 03 – “Under the Big Top”
The top 20 junior home cooks test their leadership and communication skills in a bold carnival-themed competition. As two teams of nine fuel 51 Circus Vargas performers with a delicious lunch, one team prepares seared salmon and the other grills NY strip steak. With at least two contestants on the chopping block, the home cooks must rise to the occasion in a birthday cake pressure challenge to prove their rightful spot.

Season 07, Episode 04 – “Off the Hook”
The pressure is on for the remaining 18 young home cooks, who must debone an entire fish and make a “MasterChef” worthy dish, or be at risk in a challenge. Not only are there big stakes at hand—the winner will receive a special advantage worthy of the effort—but the cooks also bring heart to the table as they reveal how their cultural heritages influence their cooking styles.

Season 07, Episode 05 – “Something to Trifle With”
The Top 16 home cooks face a sticky situation when they are divided into three teams and tasked with a Gordon masterclass—make as many stunning English trifles as possible in under 20 minutes. Only one team proves they have enough creativity and finesse to bypass the elimination round, the remaining home cooks are challenged to make three identical sliders.

Season 07, Episode 06 – “Quacking Under Pressure”
The top 14 junior home cooks must learn to butcher a whole duck. Then, with huge stakes at hand, the cooks will work in pairs to make a dozen delectable cupcakes and the winning pair will have their recipe published in the “MasterChef Junior Cookbook.”

Season 07, Episode 07 – “Camp MasterChef”
The Top 14 chef-testants head to the great outdoors for a chicken cookout. Hungry campers at the Kids’ Camp MasterChef will decide which dish reigns supreme, and the winning team’s recipe will be featured in Family Circle Magazine. The losing team must face a coconut cream pie pressure test that proves to be not as “sweet” as it may seem.

Season 07, Episode 08 – “Kidz Bop Kitchen ”
The Top 12 are in for a surprise when the kids from Kidz Bop arrive and put their twist on a mystery box challenge, deciding which ingredients the home cooks must craft into an elevated dish full of personality. Only one will win a huge advantage, forever altering his/or/her “MasterChef” journey in a “blast from the past” elimination test.

Season 07, Episode 09 – “Pasta Race”
It’s a battle to the finish line when the Top 10 are tasked with a pasta race. The home cooks are divided into teams and compete to roll out the longest sheet of pasta as fast as they possibly can. The first team’s pasta sheet to make it to the winner’s circle will be safe and exempt from a high-stakes elimination test in which éclairs are the dish du jour. No detail will go unnoticed.

Season 07, Episode 10 – “Girl Power”
The Top 10 participate in the season’s most crucial team challenge when the restaurant opens its doors to a special group of VIP female role models. The team that dishes up the most impressive meal will go straight into the Top 8, but it’s going to take more than skill to win over this exclusive group of guests. The losing team will face a Gordon Ramsay masterclass in which they will be tasked with replicating a three-Michelin-star-rated dish.

Season 07, Episode 11 – “Too Corny”
The Top Eight pair up in the most intense mystery box challenge of the season, in which the chef-testants are challenged to pull off something highly creative and seriously delicious with corn. Only one will win a game-changing advantage that is certain to cause a ruckus in the tapas-themed, tag-team challenge.

Season 07, Episode 12 – “The Restaurant Takeover”
The Top Six junior home cooks tackle the most daunting challenge in “Masterchef Junior” history when they take over Michelin Star Los Angeles restaurant Mélisse. To rise to the occasion, the teams face an intense environment, hungry guests with high expectations and the wrath of Gordon Ramsay.

Season 07, Episode 13 – “The Semi-Final”
In the last mystery box challenge, the remaining contestants receive a surprise taste from home when they are tasked with creating a dish inspired by family. Whoever wins this challenge will immediately earn a spot in the finale. Then, in a juicy elimination test, the chef-testant who elevates a secret ingredient with the most finesse and personality will secure his or her spot in the finale.
