Hi, help please
I am unsure what specific issue has been gradually worsening between the source of the downloads and, at least, me on the Australian east coast. What had once been an hour or two during an Australian afternoon, now can happen – and does – several times throughout the day. My speedtest app will show WELL OVER 200mbs – exactly at the same time downloads are showing in hours – sometimes even days (!) – to complete. I increased my download `plan’ – even doubled it – to counter this problem, but nothing has changed. Except the greater frequency of the `slow motion’ downloads.
And NOW – so, so often – like with this movie, the attempted download brings up variations of this confounding message:
“This site can’t be reached. Check if there is a typo in
thomas84.diskbackup.biz.
If spelling is correct, try running windows network Diagnostics.
DNS_PROBE_FINISHED_NXDOMAIN”
A minute or so later, up comes the download box. I have to just wait it out. Same as the `slow’ downloads. Although the latter occurred before – prompting me to increase my download plan – never at current levels. And future months scare me if the problem becomes even more frequent.
During these times – after I exit the site – every other download site I immediately attend – no problems. Everything happens at the speed expected.
Months ago I forwarded screen captures, showing the speed test app readings and the `time remaining’ at the same time, to RareFile. No reply. On my end, the problem only worsens. I am a member until next year. And, as I have written’, the problems are definitely worsening. In my chatroom (these still exist – even with admittedly diminishing participation), I regularly show the week’s worst result, as depicted in my screen captures. Of course, I do make it clear, there, that it may only be confined to me (?), my city, my state, or my country. But I have seen similar comments posted by other members, on this site.

Thank you I did receive an email from RareFile, after your referral to there.
I responded with attachments of only the recent screen captures (from the last week). These show 220+mbps speed-test results but still hours-long remaining AllYouLike download times. Including more would just be illustrating the same point over and over. There has been no further RareFile response yet. I assume that is because the matter is being investigated. I hope it will not be like my earlier email, to RareFile, which simply remained unanswered for months. Actually just unanswered.
