The Carol Burnett Show is one of the most popular and beloved shows in the history of television. Starting in 1967 and continuing for 11 straight years, The Carol Burnett Show was the ultimate variety show with music, acting, larger-than-life guest stars, and, of course, comedy… sketches, jokes and parodies that are as funny now as they were 40 years ago. All the episodes in the DVD collections were personally chosen by Carol, and all DVDs feature full, unedited episodes as they originally aired on television.

These episodes are based on 2 sets of DVDs that were released:

The Carol Burnett Show The Lost Episodes

All other episodes were either lost or never released.

Each video has a season plus episode identifier followed by six digits corresponding to the show’s broadcast date in the format yy/mm/dd.

For 43-48 years, videos of ‘The Carol Burnett Show’ were not available for public viewing in any form after the shows were broadcast. Finally, in September 2015, a 6-DVD set named ‘The Carol Burnett Show: The Lost Episodes’, which contained 16 uncut episodes from those first five seasons, was released. Then, in February 2016, another 15 uncut episodes from the same period, became available. They were in a 6-DVD set named ‘The Carol Burnett Show: The Lost Episodes, Treasures from the Vault’. However, the contents of those DVD sets were all mixed up. The episodes were not in chronological order and the extras were illogically spread out in the DVDs.
