Season 01, Episode 01 – “Pilot”
Twin brothers Vincent and Frankie Martino navigate their way through the rough-and-tumble world of 1971 Times Square. Vincent crosses paths with other midtown denizens while plotting to improve his situation. Abby gets enlisted to buy amphetamines.

Season 01, Episode 02 – “Show and Prove”
Vincent’s failing marriage forces him to move into a seedy Times Square hotel, but his success drawing customers to a struggling Korean bar brings a tempting offer from Mafia capo Rudy Pipilo. Meanwhile, Candy becomes intrigued by the filmmaking process when she fills in for a friend in a pornographic short; C.C. shows Lori the advantages of having a pimp; and the police bust up a peep show that crosses the line.

Season 01, Episode 03 – “The Principle Is All”
Vincent is blindsided by an unexpected partner after putting the finishing touches on his new bar, causing Frankie to blow a gasket. Meanwhile, Rudy buys into a rival’s plan to reconfigure The Deuce and, hopefully, with the support of an ambitious mayor; Candy looks for a way into the filmmaking business; Darlene works overtime to compensate Larry; Bobby pays a price for his recent stress at work; and a menacing drifter proves useful to Vincent when the Hi-Hat finally opens.

Season 01, Episode 04 – “I See Money”
Rudy dangles an offer in front of Vincent; Longo employs strong-arm tactics to restore order among Bobby’s unhappy construction workers; Candy attracts unwanted attention and is intrigued by a legitimate suitor; Paul questions his place at the Hi-Hat; Frankie hits a hot streak; Darlene gets a gift from Abby; Alston sees through Sandra; Vincent hires a Vietnam vet for protection following a police shakedown.

Season 01, Episode 05 – “What Kind of Bad?”
Abby is disappointed when Dominique returns from a trip home with a new girl; Bobby tries to change Vincent’s mind about Rudy’s offer; Candy mulls a career change after she’s roughed up by a john; Chris explores the exhilaration of gay life in the city; Sandra scores a key interview with a pimp with some help from Alston.

Season 01, Episode 06 – “Why Me?”
An end-of-the-year crackdown by police in and around The Deuce spurs Vincent and Bobby to action; Candy tries to persuade her adult-film director that she can do more than act; Rudy witnesses an important court ruling on obscenity and enlists Frankie and Big Mike to protect his interest in the peep shows; Alston tries to convince Sandra that he’s more than just a “source.”

Season 01, Episode 07 – “Au Reservoir”
Candy eyes a different job on Harvey’s set, but Lori struggles with the demands of porn acting; C.C., Larry and Rodney worry that pimps are becoming obsolete as the police push their business off the streets; Ashley hangs out with Frankie, but later winds up at Abby’s door; Alston finds himself singled out by the precinct’s new captain; Abby asks Vincent to be her escort at her family’s lavish party.

Season 01, Episode 08 – “Au Reservoir”
In the Season 1 finale, expansion fever hits Frankie and Bobby, but Vincent balks at getting in deeper with Rudy. Meanwhile, Candy gets a taste of directing, and enjoys the red-carpet perks of a major premiere; Alston finds himself in limbo at his precinct; Abby changes the Hi-Hat’s clientele; Sandra faces editorial and legal hurdles; Barbara and Ruby connect with the wrong kind of clients; and C.C. encourages a former pimp to get back in the game.
